About the design :

- On August 15th 1951, the small town of Pont-Saint-Esprit (Occitania, France) was victim of a mass poisoning also known as “Le Pain Maudit”. More than 250 people were involved, including 50 people interned in asylums and 7 deaths. A foodborne illness was suspected, a case of "cursed bread" (pain maudit). Amongst various symptoms, victims began experiencing nightmarish hallucinations. One man, convinced that red snakes were devouring his brain, jumped out of a window. Soon, the whole town descended into chaos.
